LMW Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) welcomed Narayanan, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), for his inaugural visit to its state-of-the-art facility on 19th September 2025.

During the visit, Narayanan had the opportunity to experience the centre’s world-class infrastructure, review key aerospace projects, and engage in strategic discussions aimed at furthering India’s space technology ecosystem.

As part of his tour, Narayanan visited both the composite and metallics manufacturing units, where he reviewed significant milestones—including the delivery of the Composite Ogive Payload Fairing for the GSLV Mk-III mission.

The discussions also highlighted the centre’s contributions to ISRO’s launch vehicle programs such as SSLV and GSLV Mk-III, while exploring future collaboration in areas like India’s space station initiatives and upcoming crewed missions.

Narayanan’s longstanding connection with LMW reflects a shared legacy of commitment to India’s aerospace advancement.

“This encouraging visit marks a pivotal moment that reinforces our shared vision of manufacturing excellence in space technology,” said the leadership team at the centre. “We remain committed to empowering India’s space journey through superior engineering, rigorous quality standards, and an unwavering focus on innovation.”

The centre extended its sincere gratitude to the ISRO Chairman and team for their engagement, encouragement, and continued partnership—elements that drive the centre’s mission to push the boundaries of aerospace and defence technology.

Together with ISRO, LMW ATC is dedicated to shaping the future of space and defence—building indigenous capabilities, nurturing talent, and driving sustainable growth for the nation and beyond.
