Dr. NGP Arts and Science College, in collaboration with IIT Madras and the KMCH Research Foundation, jointly conducted the International Workshop on Small/Micro Scale Chemistry for school and college teachers recently at the college.

This global initiative was supported by the Chemical Society of Thailand and Chulalongkorn University, with distinguished Chief Guest Supawan Tantayanon from the university.

Renowned chemist Padmashri Pradeep from IIT Madras, Chennai, supported and sponsored the event under the Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

International experts Duangruthai Sridaeng and Sudkanueng Singto also participated and shared their technical expertise with the participants.

The event was presided over by Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman, KMCH, and felicitated by Mathura Palaniswami, Trustee, NGP Research and Educational Trust.

Bhuvaneswaran, CEO of the Trust; Muthuswamy, Director (Academics), Dr. NGP Educational Institutions; and Arulraj Ramakrishnan, President, KMCH Research Foundation, also attended the event.

The workshop aimed to equip educators with innovative, safe, and sustainable chemistry practices for modern classrooms.

The collaborative effort witnessed participation from 60 teachers and professors representing various schools and colleges in and around Coimbatore.
