The Department of Hospital Administration at PSG College of Arts and Science organized an International Conference titled Digital Health 360° on 7th March 2025 at the college.

Preetha Priyadarsini, Founder & Managing Director of Richmond Talent Solutions, was the Chief Guest. Dr. Bhuvaneswaran, Director of PSG Super Speciality Hospitals; Senguttuvan, Principal In-charge of the College; and Dr. Ramalakshmi Gugan, Senior Manager, Digital Health at Kauvery Hospital, Chennai, released the conference proceedings.

In his speech, Dr. Bhuvaneswaran mentioned that the conference was held to expose the students of the Department of Hospital Administration to the current trends in healthcare. He emphasized that students would gain insight into the latest developments in medical and digital healthcare management. He also noted that this was the second year of the conference and assured that it would be held annually.

Preetha Priyadarsini addressed the topic “Digital Culture: The Future,” emphasizing the need for a tech-driven mindset in healthcare.

Dr. Ramalakshmi Gugan, Dr. Bablu Kumar Dhar, Associate Professor of Business Administration at MUIC (AACSB), Mahidol University, Thailand, and Ling Shing Wong, Professor and Pro Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation at INTI International University, Malaysia, were the keynote speakers.

They discussed topics such as “The Power of Personal Health Data,” which focused on how patient data can be leveraged for better healthcare outcomes; “Management in the Digital Era,” which offered insights into how healthcare organizations can efficiently navigate digital transformations; and “Remote Monitoring: Digital Applications to Enhance Patient Care,” shedding light on how technology is bridging gaps in healthcare accessibility.

The event also featured the launch of CURErator Vol. 3, the department’s yearly newsletter chronicling advancements and research in hospital administration; The Administrator ROLODEX, a networking directory of hospital administration students; and NalaMA: A Woman’s Guide to Cancer Awareness, a publication aimed at spreading awareness about women’s health and early cancer detection.
