CMS College of Science and Commerce (CMSCSC) organized a Mega Road Safety Campaign in collaboration with the Alert Golden Army Chapter of the college, on 23rd January 2025.

The event aimed to promote safer roads for all and raise awareness about road safety issues and practices.

The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest Saravana Sundar, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore. Balakrishnan, Principal of the college, welcomed the gathering and Gereesan, Chairman of CMS Educational and Charitable Trust delivered the presidential address.

The Chief Guest Saravana Sundar emphasised the importance of road safety measures and initiatives. He highlighted the challenges and solutions related to road safety and encouraged students to install the ‘Kaval Uthavi’ application. Saravana Sundar leads the oath-taking ceremony at the Mega Road Safety Campaign.

Chandrasekar, Corporate Director of Roots Group of Companies, delivered a keynote address on road safety concerns and solutions.

Students, faculty, and staff members took oaths to become responsible citizens and contribute to road safety. The event was attended by several dignitaries from the CMS Educational and Charitable Trust, including Sajiesh Kumar, Vice Chairman; Chandrakumar, Secretary; Sashidharan, Joint Secretary and Vijayakumar, Treasurer.

The Mega Road Safety Campaign was a resounding success, with active participation from the college community.
