As part of its club activity, the Human Resources Club – Brain O Brain – of KV Institute of Management and Information Studies (KVIMIS) organized two internal activities under the banner “Will They Stay or Leave? HR Boardroom Challenge” on 11th August 2025.

The primary objective of the program was to encourage students to use their common sense, foster critical thinking, and make effective decisions based on situational considerations.

For the first activity, students were divided into teams, and each team was provided with a dataset. The challenge was to read and analyse the data based on a discussion held prior to the session. Students were expected to apply theoretical concepts to real-time scenarios.

In the second activity, nine short case studies were distributed among students. They read, analysed, and shared their insights on each case. Faculty members then evaluated their performance based on defined parameters.

Both activities created a competitive yet collaborative learning environment, allowing students to explore key HR concepts. The session was interactive, with enthusiastic student participation.

Participants showed keen interest in addressing the given situations and identifying core issues within each case.

Overall, the program served as an experiential learning platform, stimulating critical thinking. Students gained confidence and developed foundational managerial skills essential for success in their corporate careers.
