The Department of Computer Science of Hindusthan College of Arts and Science hosted the “UNIFEST ‘25” – National Level Inter Collegiate Technical Symposium held at Bharathiar Hall on 24.02.2025.
Selvapriya, Associate Professor of the department delivered a welcome address. Ponnusamy, Principal gave the presidential address.
The event featured a team from the movie “Yamakathakeyee” including, Roopa Kuduvayur, Actress; Narendra Prasath, Actor and alumnus of the college, Peppin George Jeyaselan, Director and star alumnus of the college; Jebin George, Music Director and Venkat Rahul, Producer along with Ponnusamy, Principal and Rangaraj, Head of the department inaugurated the function.
Narendra Prasath shared his views about education and its importance. Roopa shed light on the experience of transforming a student into the next generation star. The music director shared his experience and also made the auditorium light up with his music by singing a song.
Peppin Goerge Jeyselan expressed his views and opportunities that were given by the management and the department.
At the event, the department Magazine Volume 6 Issue 1 was released by the team. Their efforts ensured a well-structured and immersive start for the program.
More than 30 colleges participated in the program, six events were conducted at different venues and were shortlisted for the finals. During the evening, prizes were distributed by the team. Overall winners and runners were appraised with mementos.
