The Department of Computer Applications at Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology organised a three-day National Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, titled “Tamizh.AI: Bridging Language and Logic,” recently.
The conference began with a welcome address by Jayasudha, Head of MCA, followed by the presidential address by Jaya, Principal of the college.
The Chief Guest, Prashanth, Assistant Collector and Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore, delivered an inspiring address, while the Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker, Haribabu Pasupathi, Vice President – Digital Services, KLST, highlighted the transformative role of AI in healthcare, education, smart city development, and Industry 5.0.
The inauguration of the conference concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Magudeswaran, Dean.
The organisers expressed their gratitude to Sarasuwathi Khannaiyann, Secretary, and Priya Satish Prabu, Executive Secretary of the college, for their unwavering encouragement and invaluable support in the successful conduct of the conference and in fostering academic and research excellence.
The inaugural session emphasised the significance of AI in addressing real-world challenges, fostering collaborative research, and promoting industry-academia partnerships.
