The Department of Computer Applications (UG) at Hindusthan College of Arts & Science (HICAS) hosted Cryptinas’24, a National Level Technical Symposium, recently.
The event was inaugurated with a presidential address by Ponnusamy, Principal of the college, followed by a welcome address from Senthil Vadivu, Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Applications. Vadivu highlighted the department’s achievements and emphasized the significance of the symposium in cultivating technological innovation and skill development among students.
The keynote address was delivered by Muralishankar Kumaressan, Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Yardstick Digital Solution & Academy, Coimbatore. Kumaressan’s insightful speech focused on UI design and the college-to-corporate transformation, offering a deep dive into the evolving trends in the IT sector and preparing students for the challenges of the professional world.
Cryptinas’24 featured a variety of technical events designed to encourage innovation and competition, including Paper Presentation, Technical Quiz, Web Design, Debugging, Marketing and Treasure Hunt
These events provided participants with the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, apply their theoretical knowledge, and collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds.
The primary focus of Cryptinas’24 was to foster a vibrant exchange of ideas, innovation, and creativity, reflecting the fast-evolving nature of the technology landscape. By offering a platform for students to develop their technical skills and network with industry professionals, the symposium has contributed to preparing the next generation of IT leaders.
The event brings together over 400 students from more than 30 colleges across the country. The symposium provided a dynamic platform for students to showcase their technical prowess and explore innovative solutions in the field of technology.
