KMCH College of Nursing conducted a Face Challenges for the 32nd batch of B. Sc Nursing & 2nd batch of Diploma nursing DGNM on 06.02.2025.
A total of 157 students had lit the lamp, took the oath and formerly entered into the dignified profession of nursing.
The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest Chief Guest Dr. Ivon Moses, District Training Medical Officer, Coimbatore.
Madhavi, Principal of the college gave an account of the significance of lamp lighting ceremony which emphasizes the need for devotion and dedication to the profession through the welcome address.
The hall was illuminated by the lighting of the inaugural lamp by the dignitaries, and the lamp lighting ceremony for the novice students was conducted by the KMCH nursing faculty and senior nursing officers, who passed on the lighted lamps to the students.
Deepthi Mary Gandhiraj, Nursing Superintendent, KMCH IHSR delivered the oath taking for the students to keep the light shine forever.
Dr. Nalla.G.Palaniswami, Chairman & Managing Director, KMCH gave presidential address to the novice students and wished them for their bright future. He congratulated all students for making right choice of profession.
Dr Thavamani.D. Palaniswami, Managing Trustee, Dr NGP Research and Educational Trust addressed the students and encouraged them to have compassion, commitment, and competence to face challenges in their career.
The Chief Guest Dr. Ivon Moses, addressed the novice nurses and emphasized the need of determination, dedication & compassion to excel in the profession.
Dr. Ramkumar, Medical Superindent, KMCH IHSR delivered the keynote address and wished the young novice nurses.
Dr Arun N Palaniswami, Managing Director & Trustee, Dr NGP Research and Educational Trust; Mathura V Palaniswami, Trustee and Mohanambal, Nursing Director, KMCH felicitated the novice nurses.
