Cardiomyopathy is a medical condition that affects the heart muscle, making it harder for the heart to pump blood efficiently to the rest of the body. Over time, this can weaken the heart and may lead to serious complications such as heart failure, irregular heart rhythms, or even sudden cardiac arrest if left untreated.
Speaking on the occasion, the organizing team emphasized GKNM Hospital’s continued commitment to promoting excellence in cardiac care through regular academic initiatives and collaborative knowledge-sharing programs. The successful conduct of this CME reaffirms GKNM Hospital’s leadership in advancing cardiology education and delivering cutting-edge cardiac care in the region.
Over the past five decades, the department has established itself as a leading center for comprehensive heart care, offering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services for both adult and pediatric patients. With a strong foundation built on clinical expertise, innovation, and compassionate care, the department continues to set benchmarks in the region.
