G. Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital (GKNMH) hosted a one-day Physiotherapy Conclave, Physiocon 2025, on 6th December 2025, under the theme “Emerging Trends in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.”

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy, CEO of the hospital, and brought together over 200 delegates from neighbouring districts to celebrate and advance the role of physical therapy in modern healthcare.

Distinguished members of the hospital administration, faculty, and a diverse group of physiotherapists, professionals, and students were also present.

The conference focused on education, to update physiotherapists and healthcare professionals on cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques; collaboration, to strengthen professional networks and interdisciplinary teamwork; innovation, to highlight how technology is transforming physiotherapy interventions; and community building, to energise the professional community and promote evidence-based practices.

Physiocon 2025 marks a milestone in physiotherapy education and practice in India. By emphasising cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, it addresses two critical areas of patient recovery—particularly relevant in today’s healthcare landscape, where chronic conditions and post-surgical rehabilitation demand advanced, collaborative approaches.

The event also positions GKNMH as a leader in physiotherapy innovation, fostering knowledge exchange and professional growth among physiotherapists, doctors, and allied health professionals.
