The Coimbatore Chapter of the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), under the leadership of Chairperson Aparna Sunku, hosted the Sadhana Awards 2026 at the Ballroom of The Residency Towers on Friday evening.

The Sadhana Awards celebrate extraordinary women whose dedication, resilience, and achievements inspire progress and empower communities. This year’s edition was particularly special as it recognised five young women achievers from Coimbatore who are making remarkable contributions across diverse fields and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

The evening was graced by renowned actor and wellness advocate Lisa Ray as the Guest of Honour, who commended the awardees for their passion, perseverance, and impact.

Speaking on the occasion, Aparna Sunku, Chairperson of FLO Coimbatore, said, “The Sadhana Awards celebrate women who lead with courage, innovation, and purpose. This year, we are proud to honour young achievers from our own city whose work is shaping communities and inspiring countless others.”

The awards recognised five exceptional women:

Aishwarya Rao, Director of The Vivekalaya Group of Institutions, The Prem Anand Foundation, and Ekalavya Trust, received the “Changemaker Edupreneur” award for her impactful work in education and community development.

Aishwarya Guptha, Founder of Wondr Diamonds, was honoured with the “Enterprising Entrepreneur” award for her entrepreneurial excellence and innovation in the jewellery industry.

Tejal Satish, COO of Broadway Cinema, and Neha Satish, Project Director at the CEO Office of Broadway Cinema, were jointly recognized with the “Dynamic Trailblazer” award for their leadership and forward-thinking contributions to the cinema and entertainment & Hospitality industry.

Prof. C. Jayaprabha, business entrepreneur, international para throwball and volleyball player, and Founder of the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam School for Special Children, was honoured with the “Beacon of Hope” award for her inspiring work empowering special children and her remarkable achievements in sports and social service.

The event was convened by FLO Past Chairperson Ms. Preethika Balaji, whose vision and dedication helped bring together this meaningful celebration of young women achievers.

Through initiatives like the Sadhana Awards, FLO Coimbatore continues its mission of recognising, celebrating, and empowering women who are creating meaningful change in society.
