As a part of the industry-academia engagement initiatives shared between PSG College of Technology and Texas Instruments, the US-based semiconductor giant’s Technical Talent Leader Ramanujam Thodur visited the campus recently.

His visit facilitated discussions on advancing collaboration through student projects, internships and placements.
A press release from the institution stated that Ramanujam also explored the institution’s Centres of Excellence and appreciated the ongoing work in semiconductor design and innovation.

In dedicated sessions for students and faculty, he shared insights into semiconductor careers and industry expectations. He emphasised strong engineering fundamentals, analytical thinking, hands-on learning and problem-solving. The visit concluded with discussions on future initiatives, that further strengthens the Texas Instruments – PSG Tech partnership.
