EASA College of Engineering and Technology conducted a Faculty Development Programme recently. The programme was inaugurated by Robert Kennedy, Principal of the college.

During the programme, Rathinam, Dean of Science and Humanities, delivered a session on “Communication & Interpersonal Effectiveness, Team Playing & Inter-Department Collaboration.”

Saravanan, Director of Human Resources Development, addressed the participants on topics including FDP Overview, EASA Culture, Values & Faculty Success Framework, Performance Excellence & New Appraisal System, HR Policies, Employee Benefits & Workplace Conduct college culture, leadership, success strategies for faculty members, human resource policies, faculty benefits, and professional ethics.

Manju, Dean of Student Affairs, explained the rules and regulations governing student–faculty relationships and conduct, Quality Affairs Quality Improvement Planning, Accreditations, Approvals, Ratings / Rankings, NBA/NIRF Documentation, Institutional Vision & Strategic Roadmap, IQAC Targets.

Sivakumar, Dean of Research and Development, delivered sessions on research and development, project planning, coordination, mentoring, teamwork, patents, publications, and collaborative research. Natarajan, Dean, provided a detailed explanation of the curriculum and syllabus design.

The Heads of Departments and professors participated in the faculty development training programme and benefited from the sessions.

The valedictory function of the Faculty Development Programme was presided over by T.E. Sujatha, Chairperson of EASA College of Engineering and Technology. T.E. Ajith, Secretary and Chief Executive Officer, and T.E. Aadarsh, Correspondent, addressed the gathering.

Subsequently, certificates were distributed to the faculty members who successfully participated in the Faculty Development Programme.
