All industrial, commercial and institutional consumers were advised by the State Level Coordinator for Oil Industry to source their fuel requirements through their designated consumer pumps only and not from Retail Outlets.

V.C.Asokan, the State Head of Indian Oil (TN & Pudhucherry) and the State Level Coordinator for Oil Industry in both the regions issued a press release on Thursday, assuring all customers that Petrol, Diesel, LPG and other petroleum products are available with the Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies – Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and HP.

Advising the 3 non-domestic consumers to source their fuel requirements only through their designated consumer pumps, the SLC expressed that the Oil Industry seeks the continued cooperation of all consumers in implementing these measures, which are aimed at ensuring the efficient distribution of fuel and the seamless availability of supplies for all segments of society.

“This measure is aimed at ensuring that Petrol and Diesel supplies at Retail Outlets remain readily available for regular customers, including motorists, farmers, public transport operators, etc,” the press release mentioned.
