Balakrishnan. Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore city, was awarded the “POLE STAR OF TAMIL NADU POLICE” for his exemplary services rendered to the Nation by Sacrifice Friends Club on their 24th Anniversary.
In the 24th Anniversary Celebration, they come up with educational assistance for poor children and welfare measures for the physically challenged. They also had an award function to honour the educationists, Police Officials, Doctors and Best NCC unit and NSS unit who have rendered exemplary services to the Nation at Balan Nagar, Masakalipalayam Road, Peelamedu, Coimbatore.

During the award function. V. Balakrishnan.IPS. Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City emphasized the responsibility of the Parents to show their love and affection towards their children despite the burning lust for money and wealth for many generations.
He also said that Children raised unloved and uncared will become a burden to society and children properly parented become assets of the country and become future achievers and they will become positive human resources of the county shortly. This will help in building INDIA as a Strong Nation.
