The Indian Public School (TIPS) Globeducate CBSE, Coimbatore, part of the globally renowned education network Globeducate has brought laurels to the city with their outstanding performances in rifle shooting at the 51st Tamil Nadu State Shooting Championship.
Adhish, a Class 12 student, won two gold medals in the Double Trap event under the Junior Men and Youth Men’s categories.
He was felicitated by Annamalai Kuppusamy, Ex-IPS officer and political leader. A national-level player last year, Adhish now dreams of joining the Indian Shooting Squad.
In another proud moment for the school, Sasha Sridhar, Class 11, bagged the Silver Medal in the Under-19 Girls Individual Rifle Shooting event at the 46th Coimbatore Sahodaya Complex Championship.
She had earlier won four bronze medals in last year’s competition.
