The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Coimbatore Finance & Economic Affairs Panel launched the CII Coimbatore CFO Forum on 24 September 2025 in Coimbatore.
The forum has been envisaged as an exclusive, knowledge-driven platform to bring together Chief Financial Officers and Finance Heads from across industries.
It aims to catalyse collaborative learning, the sharing of best practices, financial excellence, and policy advocacy to further strengthen Coimbatore’s dynamic industrial ecosystem.
Noushad, Vice Chairman, CII Coimbatore Zone, formally launched the forum and unveiled the logo.
Binu Paulose, Convenor, Finance & Economic Affairs Panel, shared the vision and objectives of the forum, underlining the need for a strong platform for finance leaders to engage on pressing issues, exchange knowledge, and jointly drive industry competitiveness.
Madhan Mohan, Co-Convenor, Finance & Economic Affairs Panel, presented the one-year action plan for the forum and outlined its proposed activities, including periodic knowledge sessions, policy dialogues, networking opportunities, and collaborative engagements with government and industry stakeholders.
Rengaraj, CFO, LGB Balakrishnan & Bros, addressed the gathering on budget and policy frameworks, noting that the forum would serve as a strong initiative to directly channel policy recommendations through CII.
Manjunath, Co-Convenor, Finance & Economic Affairs Panel, emphasised the need for collaborative initiatives, continuous engagement, and structured knowledge platforms to enable the CFO community in Coimbatore to play a stronger role in industrial and economic growth.
As part of the programme, a knowledge-sharing session on “GST 2.0 & ESG” was conducted with EY (Ernst & Young LLP) as the knowledge partner.
The session on GST 2.0 was addressed by Jayashree, Partner, Ernst & Young LLP, and Srihari, Director.
The session on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) was led by Sayooj Thekkevariath, Partner – Climate Change and Sustainability Services, Ernst & Young LLP.
The event witnessed active participation from CFOs and senior finance leaders across diverse sectors, who engaged in insightful discussions and shared experiences.
