5 artists from Kongu Oviya Kalai Kuzhu, a Coimbatore-based forum for artists have exhibited their paintings on diverse themes at the prestigious Kasthuri Srinivasan Art Gallery & Textile Museum near Aravind Eye Hospital. Kalaimamani awardee, artist Jeevananthan inaugurated the exhibition cum sale event. The exhibition features 70+ paintings (watercolors, acrylic, oil color, poster color, charcoal etc) by artists – Rajendran, Kumanan, Murugesan, Ramamoorthy and Govindarajulu, all carrying over 20-30 years of experience and professional knowledge in the field of painting. The art works will be on display for 5 days – 13th to 17th of May at the gallery from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
