Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Coimbatore Management Association (CMA) to strengthen industry–academia collaboration through joint academic and professional initiatives.
The partnership will facilitate student projects, internship training and industrial visits. It will also include workshops, seminars and management events.
In addition, it provides for faculty development programmes, executive and management development programmes, consultancy assignments, curriculum support, guest lectures and professor of practice engagements.
The partnership is expected to enhance industry exposure and practical learning opportunities for students while enabling closer interaction between faculty members and professionals from the management sector.
The MoU has been signed by Ajith Kumar, Registrar and Nithyanandan Devaraaj, President of the association, in the presence of Nava Subramaniam, Dean, Amrita School of Business; Balachandran, Director – Industry Connect; Prashant Nair, Associate Director-IQAC of AMRITA and Puneet Krishnan, Secretary and various managing committee members of CMA.
The initiative marks a significant step toward building sustained industry partnerships and preparing students for real-world professional challenges.
