Public and Students Participate in ‘Wall of Gratitude’ Signature Campaign to Honour Indian Armed Force.
Coimbatore, August 18, 2026:
In a tribute to the courage, sacrifice and dedication of Indian armed forces personnel, Radio City’s Amaran – Independence Day Road Show was held across Coimbatore for two days. Members of the public and students participated enthusiastically, expressing their gratitude and respect for the soldiers who safeguard the nation.
The specially designed campaign vehicle of the Amaran team, which is travelling across Tamil Nadu, arrived in Coimbatore and reached Race Course. The ‘Wall of Gratitude’ signature campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from the public, who conveyed their wishes, gratitude and affection towards the armed forces through handwritten messages and signatures.
The second-day event of the Amaran campaign was held on August 17 at Sri Ramakrishna College. The signature campaign was officially inaugurated in the presence of Kargil War veteran Mr. Iqbal, the College Principal, faculty members and students.
Students and members of the public came together to express their gratitude and respect for the Indian armed forces. The event served as a meaningful initiative reflecting patriotism and national pride.

The signatures and messages of gratitude collected through the ‘Wall of Gratitude’ during the Amaran campaign will be respectfully presented to members of the Indian Armed Forces after the completion of the campaign.
The Amaran campaign received support from Sangeetha Restaurants, Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, Gangotri Sweets & Snacks and the Tamil Nadu Tourism Department.
The initiative provides a meaningful opportunity for the public to express their gratitude directly to the armed forces and remember the courage and sacrifices of those who protect the nation.
