The AgriConnectTN Foundation Day 2026 was held recently at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Coimbatore. The event witnessed the participation of over 70 attendees from across the agricultural ecosystem, including students, startup founders, academicians, farmers, and industry professionals.

The programme focused on strengthening connections between students, industry, and the farming community through discussions, networking sessions, startup pitches, and collaborative initiatives. Sessions held throughout the day highlighted entrepreneurship, innovation, career opportunities, and the future of agriculture.

One of the major attractions of the event was the Student Startup Pitch segment, where young entrepreneurs presented innovative ideas and practical solutions aimed at addressing agricultural challenges. The segment provided students with an opportunity to showcase their startups and interact directly with experts, founders, and academicians.

The event also featured panel discussions and networking sessions that encouraged meaningful conversations on innovation, agribusiness opportunities, student development, and collaboration within the agricultural sector.

As part of the launch segment, several new initiatives focused on student empowerment and ecosystem development were introduced. These included a mobile application, a dedicated website, an agripreneurship programme named ThulirTN, a one-to-one Job Mentorship Programme, and AgriGlobal Cohort, an overseas education guidance initiative for students.

Lokhavarshni, along with the AgriConnectTN core team members, played a key role in organising and leading the event, reflecting the organisation’s vision of building a stronger and more connected agricultural ecosystem.

The organising team emphasised the importance of creating platforms that help students access opportunities, connect with professionals, and gain practical exposure beyond classrooms. Participants appreciated the event for bringing together diverse stakeholders and creating an engaging space for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The event concluded with recognitions for volunteers and campus ambassadors who contributed to the growth and outreach of the initiative.
