Elev8 India Sportz, a sports promotion company based in Chennai is organizing the 11th edition of Yuva Kabbadi Series with the Divisional Matches all happening at Karpagam College of Engineering in Coimbatore between 14.12.24 to 10.1.25.
A press conference was held on 19-12-2024 at Coimbatore Press Club and it was addressed by Vikas K Gautam, CEO of Yuva Kabaddi Series and Harish Prasad, Director of the Tournament.
It was conveyed that 26 teams from 21 states are participating in the divisional matches here.
These matches are divided into 3 categories, Divisions 1,2,3 with 1 being the strongest. 37 matches in both the 3rd and 2nd divisions and 29 matches in the 1st divisions are taking place at Karpagam College of Engineering.
3 teams from Tamil Nadu – Karpagam Raiders, Chennai Tamizhas and Palani Tuskers besides another 3 teams from Haryana and 2 from Rajasthan are the strongest in the tournament.
More than 300 players from Tamil Nadu have played in the series in the last 10 series, and 16 of them have made it to the Pro Kabbadi Leagues – considered the biggest elevation in the professional kabbadi arena in India.
It is noteworthy to mention that 120+ players of the Yuva Kabaddi Series have made it to the Pro Kabbadi League
The organizers have ensured all the players under an annual scheme so that their career and life remains secured.
The Kabbadi action is streaming live on the Fancode OTT platform. The total prize money is Rs.20 lakhs. The grand finale will be held on February 2025.
