The inauguration ceremony of the Centre for Development and Environmental Research (CDER) was held recently at PSG College of Arts and Science.
At the inauguration, the centre’s brochure was released in the presence of dignitaries including, Venkatachalapathy, Former Professor, Department of Physics, Annamalai University; Govindarajan, Founder & Director, CDER; Vidhyavathi, HOD, Departmnet of Agricultural Economics, TNAU; Brindha, Former Principal of PSG College of Arts and Science; Kannaian, Secretary; Kavidasan, Director, HR, Roots Industries; Osai Kalidasan, Environmentalist and Ravikumar, HOD, Department of Economics of the college.
On this occasion, a Conclave on Indian Economy was also conducted. Research Scholars and faculty members from various institutions participated in the event. Invited speakers delivered lectures on different themes on the subject. Students and faculty members actively participated in the conclave deliberations.
