Sony India announces two new G Master super telephoto prime lenses for the Alpha full-frame E-mount system: the FE 400mm F4.5 GM OSS with a focal length of 400mm and the FE 600mm F6.3 GM OSS with a focal length of 600mm; both are the world’s lightest lenses in their respective categories.
The FE 400mm F4.5 GM OSS weighs approximately 994g and the FE 600mm F6.3 GM OSS approximately 995g, achieving the world’s lightest design in their respective categories.
Their lightweight design makes them well suited to dynamic shooting styles that involve exploring the environment to identify and capture photographic opportunities and subjects.
In addition, their carefully optimised weight balance enables excellent control during handheld shooting, including situations where photographers need to continuously keep subjects framed or track moving subjects.
These features enhance the flexibility of super-telephoto photography across subjects such as birds, wildlife and sports.
These lenses are also designed to deliver the exceptional resolution and beauty that define the G Master series across the super-telephoto range, enabling photographers to capture distant subjects with fine detail.
In addition, fast, precise and quiet AF performance allows photographers to quickly and accurately capture fast-moving subjects.
