Tea Board India, South Zonal Office, Coonoor, is hosting a two-day Tea Expo at Brookfields Mall, Coimbatore, on Saturday and Sunday.
Deepak Shaw, Chairman, Tea Exporters Association, and Director, Crystal Tea, inaugurated the expo by cutting the ribbon.
Noor Mohammed, Managing Director, Paramount Tea Marketing Company, and representative of the Tea Trade Association of Coimbatore and Cochin; Gyanasampantham, Managing Director and CEO, Agri Incubation Centre, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University; and Prabhakaran, representative of the Tea Trade Association of Coimbatore and Branch Manager, Forbes Tea Brokers, were present as special guests.
Kamakshi, Financial Controller, Brookfields Mall, and Swetha, Executive, Marketing, were also present.
Representatives from tea estates and small tea growers from South India exhibited their range of tea products and interacted with visitors.
Free tea packets were distributed to visitors. Uma Maheswari of Tea Board India is organising the event.
