For quiet sometime, motorists have been urging authorities to mark speed-breakers without with white paints as they find it really difficult to spot the one without markings, when they ride in the dark.

Such speed-breakers exist in multiple places in the city, and concerned authorities should fix this without further delay. Another request from motorists is regarding potholes.

For instance, take Rajendra Prasad Road (the stretch before the Central Warehousing Corporation, Siddhapudhur). It has a huge pothole that is almost invisible to riders during the night hours. The street light that is installed at the Gandhipuram flyover deck does not fall sufficiently on the road below.

On Sunday, multiple vehicles which were swiftly heading towards Nava India from this stretch almost stumbled because of this pothole which was invisible to them. Elderly couples driving two-wheelers halted their vehicles abruptly upon seeing the pothole in close proximity. This might have ended unpleasantly if the vehicle behind them did not understand the situation.

These are threats may cause unfortunate incident if authorities keep waiting for long.
