KMCH College of Pharmacy and KMCH College of Physiotherapy jointly organised their graduation ceremony today.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Sharath Kumar Rao, Vice-Chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, and Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman and Managing Director, KMCH, conferred the degrees in the presence of Dr. Arun N. Palaniswami, Trustee, Dr. NGP Research and Educational Trust; Mathura V. Palaniswami, Trustee; and Dr. Mohan Sethupathi, Trustee.
Buvaneswaran, CEO and Natesan, Chief Operating Officer of the Trust; and Dr. Edmund D’Couto, Director, KMCH College of Physiotherapy, were present on the occasion and congratulated the graduates.

A total of 241 undergraduate and 173 postgraduate students from the Pharmacy and Physiotherapy disciplines received their degrees. In addition, eight students who secured university-level first ranks and gold medals were honoured with their degrees and certificates of appreciation.

Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. Earlier, the Trustees, Dr. Mohan Sethupathi, Dr. Arun N. Palaniswami and Madhura V. Palaniswami, delivered their felicitations and conveyed their best wishes to the graduating students.
In his special address, Dr. Sharath Kumar Rao advised the graduates to utilise the education and knowledge they had acquired in a meaningful manner for the benefit of society and to contribute with dedication towards the advancement of public health.
Rajasekaran, Principal, KMCH College of Pharmacy, delivered the welcome address. Karthik Babu, Principal, KMCH College of Physiotherapy, proposed the vote of thanks.

Principals of various health sciences colleges, faculty members, teaching staff, parents and students were present at the Graduation Day ceremony.
