Through MK Foundations’ ‘First Flight, First Dream’ initiative, MV Manikandan, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of Adissia Developers and Managing Trustee of MK Foundations, personally took children from his hometown, Coimbatore, on their very first flight, recently.
The initiative gave the children an opportunity to experience air travel for the first time, with a journey from Coimbatore to Bengaluru. Following the flight, the children visited the Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, where they explored the worlds of science, technology and innovation through an immersive and educational experience.
For MV Manikandan, the initiative was more than just a journey. It was an opportunity to give back to the community that shaped him and inspire children to dream beyond their circumstances. By exposing them to new experiences and environments, the initiative aimed to broaden their horizons and encourage them to envision greater possibilities for their future.
Speaking to the children, MV Manikandan said, “A child’s dreams are often limited by what they have seen. Sometimes, changing their environment for just one day can change the way they think for a lifetime. Through First Flight, First Dream, we wanted these children to believe that no dream is beyond their reach.”
