The Departments of Computer Science, Biotechnology and Microbiology of Hindusthan College of Arts & Science organized an International Conference on NextGen Computational Biology recently.

Held on the theme ‘Transforming Technologies for Sustainability’, the program brought together eminent scientists, academicians, researchers, industry experts, and students to deliberate on the latest advances in computational biology and its role in fostering sustainable solutions across multiple sectors.
Prof. Manikanda Boopathi, Department of Plant Biotechnology, CPMB&B, TNAU, Coimbatore, delivered the inaugural address and highlighted the transformative potential of computational biology.
Rathinaraja Jeyaraj, Postdoctoral Scholar, Center for AI in Medicine & Imaging, Stanford University, USA, delivered the keynote address and emphasized the role of artificial intelligence, digital pathology, and computational biology are transforming precision medicine through advanced diagnostic technologies.
More than 100 delegates presented their research through both oral and poster presentations.
