Around 52 former cricketers from Coimbatore district recently came together for a get-together to share their cricketing experiences and memories.
The group, known as the Past CDCA Golden Cricketers, comprises players who represented Coimbatore in various levels of competitive cricket, including district teams, school teams, college teams, combined district college teams, Madras University, Coimbatore Senior Districts, Combined Districts, and Tamil Nadu Under-22 and Under-25 teams.
These cricketers were actively involved in representative cricket from the 1970s to 2000. During the gathering, they reminisced about their playing days, shared experiences, and discussed their contributions to the growth of cricket in Coimbatore district.
