The Coimbatore Productivity Council (CPC) held its 68th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the 46th Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM) Convocation on Thursday at Kasthuri Sreenivasan Trust.
During the AGM, Returning Officer P.K. Natrajan announced that Chitra, Immediate Vice President of the Council and Principal of Sri Ramakrishna College for Women (SRCW), will take over as the President of the Coimbatore Productivity Council for the 2026–28 term.

Mani, Managing Director of Messer Cutting Systems India, Coimbatore, and Srinivasan, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Roots Multiclean, Coimbatore, will serve as Vice Presidents.
Ravikumar of Singanallur has been appointed Honorary Secretary, while Jagannathan, Managing Director of Silver Crown Metal Coatings, Coimbatore, will serve as Honorary Treasurer. Jeevananthan of BMS Union, Coimbatore, has been appointed Honorary Joint Secretary.
The elected Governing Board (GB) members are Narendran, Devipriya, Sekkilar, Velumani, Balasundaram, Palanisamy, Nandagopal, Parvathakumar, Selvaraju, Guru Selvaraj and Bhuvaneswaran.
The special invitees are Sripriya, Mohanakrishnan, Sivakumar, Devaraju, Karthikeyan, Initha Rina, Manoharan, Sivaraj, Yogeswari, Madhavan, Govindarajulu, Athiyaman, Khanna, Paramasivan, Stanley Peter, Devarajan, Jayagomathinayagam and Swaminathan.

Sudhakar, Immediate Past President of the Council, was honoured by the Governing Committee in recognition of his leadership and contributions during the previous term.
Ravikumar, Immediate Past Honorary Secretary, presented the Council’s activities report and the financial report for the previous term.

Following the AGM, the 46th Convocation for the Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM) was held. Nagaraj Balakrishnan, Vice President of Rathinam Group of Institutions, attended as the chief guest.

He addressed the graduates and conferred certificates on the successful graduates in the presence of the Council’s office bearers.
