Terapanth Mahila Mandal, a women’s organisation in Coimbatore, will organise “Shri Utsav – Shopping Festival 2026” on July 11 and 12 at Terapanth Jain Bhawan, AKS Nagar, Thadagam Road, Coimbatore.

The festival is an initiative to encourage women entrepreneurs and support small businesses. It will feature more than 50 carefully curated stalls showcasing home décor, fashion, beauty, food, and lifestyle products, offering a diverse shopping experience for visitors of all age groups.

The entry fee is ₹20 per person. Every ticket will also make visitors eligible for an hourly lucky draw.

According to the organisers, the proceeds from the event will be utilised to support dialysis treatment for poor and needy patients and provide financial assistance for the education of underprivileged girls.

This year, the organisation will sponsor 125 free dialysis sessions through the Jain Dialysis Centre, R.S. Puram.

In a step towards inclusivity, a stall has also been provided free of cost to a transgender NGO.

Terapanth Mahila Mandal functions under the guidance of ABTMM. Similar exhibitions are conducted across India in nearly 150 cities within a span of one month, all with the common objective of supporting social causes and empowering women.

The organisation primarily works towards the spiritual growth of its women members and organises this exhibition once every two years.

“The response has always been very encouraging, but this year it has been overwhelming even before the event,” the organisers said.

They added that visitors will not only have the opportunity to shop for the latest trends but also contribute to society through their purchases.

The festival will also feature a gourmet food court and a Kids Carnival with activity-based attractions. Members of the public are invited to attend the festival with their family and friends, enjoy the shopping experience, and support the charitable cause.
