Ganga College of Nursing organised a Drug Awareness Program on Wednesday at Gandhipuram Bus Stand.
This initiative aims to educate the public, especially youth, on the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The programme includes a flash mob performance, followed by a mime show highlighting the serious consequences of drug addiction.

Police officials also actively participated in the event and arranged necessary support for the smooth conduct of the programme, ensuring public engagement and safety.

The event also featured a special address by Dr. Shyam from Ganga Hospital and Medical Centre, who delivered an insightful speech emphasising the importance of saying no to drugs and of leading a healthy, responsible life.
The program concluded with a public pledge, encouraging everyone to commit to a drug-free life under the theme “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life.”
