Carmel Garden Matriculation Higher Secondary School organized its investiture ceremony for the academic year 2026-27 on Monday.
D. Nandakumar, President, Carmel Garden Alumni Association and Managing Director, Selvam Agencies took part as the Chief Guest. Joe Dhanraj, Coordinator, Carmel Garden Alumni Association was the Guest of Honor. Arokia Thadayus, Principal of the school presided over the program.
Young students who were prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school, got their leadership badges pinned by the Chief Guest.
At the event, D. Nandakumar who is also the Managing Trustee of Ambal Charitable Trust handed over “Selvam Agencies N.Duraisamy Memorial Scholarship” to the top three achievers in the 10th Grade and 12th Grade Public Exams held in March 2026.
The scholarship is initiated by Ambal Charitable Trust. Established in 2007, the Trust is a philanthropic organization focused on improving education and healthcare. Through initiatives such as scholarships, educational programs, medical camps, and financial assistance, the trust works towards uplifting underprivileged individuals and communities, making a positive impact in society.
