PSG College of Arts and Science (PSG CAS) – a premier higher educational institution run by the PSG & Sons’ Charities, is organizing its 39th Graduation Ceremony in 4 sessions on Friday and Saturday.
L.Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee of PSG & Sons’ Charities presided over the event. Kannaian, Secretary of PSG CAS declared the graduation day open. Principal, Jayanthi welcomed the gathering and presented the annual report, highlighting the achievements of the institution.
The Chief Guest of the First session – Baskar Pannerselvam, Partner, Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants, Chennai presented the degrees to the successful candidates.

In his address to the graduates, he suggested them to keep learning as the world they are stepping in is becoming competitive day by day. He recommended them to take specialized courses that will help them level up and face the challenges.
Speaking further, Baskar advised them to not look for jobs that won’t just give them a good pay but a great exposure along with it.

By briefly talking about a few unexpected global level disruptive events like Covid-19 Pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine war, Reciprocal Tariffs by Donald Trump-led US Govt, the Middle East war, he underlined that we are facing uncertainties more than ever, and it is extremely important that our youth remain agile and upskilled to overcome these uncertainties.
He suggested the graduates to limit their social media engagements and read in-depth of the things that happen around them.
