Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT), Coimbatore, announced on Monday the launch of POINTIQ, a technology-integrated basketball scoreboard system that is developed through SRIT’s innovation hub HIVE in collaboration with industry partners.
POINTIQ provides real-time analytics and enhances spectator experience. Its launch was graced by S. Narendran, Joint Managing Trustee of S.N.R. Sons Charitable Trust, SRIT’s Principal David Rathnaraj, and SRIT’s alumnus Deebala.
The product showcases how educational institutions can translate research into market-ready solutions through student talent and industry partnerships.
