Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT) celebrated its 24th Annual Day on Wednesday.
David Rathnaraj, Principal of the college, welcomed the gathering. Sundar Ramakrishnan, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, Coimbatore, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he emphasised the institution’s commitment to nurturing holistic and competent engineers.
The Annual Report for the academic year 2025–2026 was presented through a video, highlighting the institution’s key achievements, academic progress, co-curricular activities, and significant milestones.
Arul Christopher, Technical Lead, Embedded-Sensor Technologies and IoT Systems at Bosch Global Software Technologies, Coimbatore, and an alumnus of SRIT (Batch 2004–2008), was the chief guest. Recalling his time at SRIT, he noted that teachers guided students beyond the classroom.

He emphasised the “3 Cs” — Confidence, Commitment, and Communication — as the key to success, and encouraged students to set goals, work consistently, and enjoy each day. He was also a recipient of the Best Outgoing Student Award during his time at the institution.
Suganya of Suganya Leads, Chennai, an alumna of SRIT (Batch 2008–2012), was the guest of honour. She shared that the foundation of her training career was laid at SRIT and encouraged students to participate in all activities and make use of every facility offered by the institution.
Awards were distributed to faculty members, students, and departments for their outstanding performances during the academic year.
The Best Outgoing Student Award was presented to Viswajith of IV Year IT, while Lakshana of IV Year ECE received the Best Outgoing Student Award in the girls’ category. Departments also recognised their top performers through Department Best Student Awards.
