The Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CII&E) and E-Cell of PSG College of Arts & Science organised the Entrepreneurship League (E-League) 2026, an inter-collegiate entrepreneurship extravaganza, on Tuesday, as part of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) initiatives.

The event aimed to nurture entrepreneurial thinking, leadership, innovation capability, and strategic decision-making among college students.

The event was graced by Swathi Rohit, entrepreneur and industry expert, as the Chief Guest. In her inspiring address, she shared her entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the importance of learning from failures, strategic planning from setbacks to success, and maintaining a balance between physical and mental well-being for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Her experience-based insights, ranging from foundational concepts to advanced entrepreneurial practices, deeply resonated with students and motivated them to pursue entrepreneurship with confidence and clarity.

The presidential address was delivered by Jayanthi, Principal of the college who emphasised the institution’s strong commitment to fostering student-led innovation and entrepreneurship.

The felicitation address was delivered by Kannain, Secretary of the college, who lauded the efforts of CII&E and E-Cell in creating a vibrant innovation ecosystem and appreciated the participation of students from across the region.

The program commenced with an event note and preamble by Krishnaveni, Coordinator, CII&E, who outlined the objectives, structure, and outcomes of E-League 2026. Mathipurani, Vice President, IIC encouraged the participants in planning and execution of the event.

PSG 1

Vijayakumar, Incubation Manager, introduced students to innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and elaborated on the business incubation facilities available for student entrepreneurs at the college.

The competitions were conducted in parallel across multiple venues and included i-Expo with 30 teams (100 students), B-Quiz with 50 teams (100 students), Mock UN – Model UN Parliament with 40 students, Business Auction with 30 teams (50 students), Best Management Team with 25 teams (90 students), and Best CEO with 50 students.

The Innovation Expo showcased more than 50 innovative prototypes, offering experiential and visual learning opportunities to participants and visitors.

The event witnessed participation from 450+ students representing over 50 colleges from Tamil Nadu and Kerala, making E-League 2026 a highly competitive and impactful platform for young innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Outstanding performing teams and individuals were awarded cash prizes, trophies, and certificates worth more than ₹1 Lakh, recognising excellence in innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurial acumen.

Earlier, Thayasram, IIC Executive Co-Lead, delivered the welcome address and concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Nithin Kumar, Executive Lead, E-Cell of the college.
