Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies (VIMS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Poojiyam Innovations, Coimbatore, on November 22, 2025.
The event was attended by Sattanathan, Co-founder of Poojiyam Innovations; Faaz Yousuf, Co-founder; and Gopalakrishnan, Co-founder.
Valarmathi, Director of VIMS, addressed the students on the purpose and features of the MoU. She emphasized that the partnership would enable students to work on live projects, collaborate with industry experts, develop essential corporate skills, and enhance their career prospects.
Sattanathan stated that Poojiyam Innovations would provide students with opportunities for live projects, internships, and placements, helping them gain practical experience and industry insights.
Faaz Yousuf highlighted the value of gaining insights into industry trends and best practices, while Gopalakrishnan discussed collaborative work on identified problems in key areas, promoting consultancy and research studies.
The MoU will also offer faculty and students opportunities to conduct research and surveys, providing valuable inputs for industry-specific fields such as operations, HR, finance, and marketing.
The collaboration is expected to create new opportunities for students, including internships, projects, and placements, and strengthen ties between academia and industry, promoting mutual growth and development. The signing ceremony was attended by key officials, faculty members, and students.
