Coimbatore-based pump major, Deccan Pumps, owned by the Arumugam Family, has won the prestigious European PIA Award recently, in the Pump Industry Award ceremony in the United Kingdom.
The British Pump Manufacturers Association, together with leading members of the European pump industry, recognised Deccan Pumps’ Advanced Manufacturing Unit with the prestigious Finalist Supplier Award.
The Pump Industry Awards are one of the sector’s most established international platforms. Organised in collaboration with top manufacturers and suppliers across Europe, the event honours companies worldwide that lead in technical innovation, sustainability, customer focus, and market excellence.
Commenting on the honour, Kanishka Arumugam, Director at Deccan Pumps and an alumnus of Oxford University, said, “This is not just a win for Deccan—it’s a proud moment for Indian manufacturing.
