Reaffirming their commitment to community welfare and sports promotion, Tanny Shelters, through its CSR arm Seyon Charitable Trust, has contributed ₹20 Lakhs to support the development of a new Indoor Stadium near Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore.
The Government has proposed a major indoor sports facility at Nehru Stadium, and Tanny Shelters has stepped forward as one of the contributors to this welfare initiative.
Speaking about the contribution, Sivaraman Kandasamy, Managing Director, Tanny Shelters, said, “We believe sports are a powerful medium to inspire, unite, and empower youth. By contributing to this project, we hope to create better opportunities for aspiring athletes and encourage active community participation.”
Pavankumar Giriyappanavar, District Collector, Coimbatore, expressed his gratitude, stating, “I sincerely thank and appreciate Tanny Shelters for joining hands in this wonderful Indoor Stadium proposal. This facility is long overdue and much needed for a vibrant city like Coimbatore. Such contributions reflect the spirit of partnership between government and industry in building world-class infrastructure for our people.”
In addition to its CSR commitments, Tanny Shelters is spearheading major projects in the IT sector. The company has proposed the development of three IT parks across Coimbatore, with a combined built-up area of 1.8 million sq. ft. One of these projects in Saravanampatti has already commenced construction.
This large-scale IT infrastructure development is expected to generate substantial employment opportunities and contribute to the economic upliftment of the region, reinforcing Coimbatore’s position as a key hub for technology and business growth in South India.
