Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Meridian, launched its signature project, ‘BLOSSOM – An Extra Care’, at the hospital on 24th July 2025.
The initiative is a joint effort with Attitude Charitable Trust and Cordon Bleu Properties, aims to support bone sarcoma cancer patients.

Guhan, Director of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Oncology & Research; Tamilselvan, Project Chairman; Shanmugasundaram, President of Attitude Charitable Trust; Radhakrishnan, President of the Rotary Club; and Dr. Bhargavi, Surgical Oncologist at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Oncology & Research, accompanied Sundar during the launch.
The project focuses on providing financial support for bone sarcoma cancer patients, enabling them to undergo limb salvage surgeries with endoprosthetic reconstruction.
The cost of each surgery ranges from ₹2.5 lakh to ₹3 lakh.
Even before the official launch of Project BLOSSOM, the hospital had already performed five successful surgeries.
A beneficiary of the project also attended the event.
