The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Coimbatore Zone successfully concluded the 2nd Edition of its Zonal Cricket League, held over two weekends on 5–6 and 12–13 July 2025.
The four-day tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from 24 member industries, strengthening bonds within the industrial community through sports.
The league began with an opening ceremony and jersey launch on 4 July 2025. Ramesh, Past Chairman of CII Coimbatore Zone and Managing Director of Alphacraft, addressed the teams and officially unveiled the tournament jersey.
In his speech, he encouraged all players to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the league.
Cognizant Technology Solutions emerged as the champions of the tournament. Pricol Limited was the runner-up, while Gilbarco Veeder Root India secured third place.
The 2nd Edition of the Zonal Cricket League is part of CII Coimbatore Zone’s ongoing commitment to promoting employee well-being, encouraging inter-industry collaboration, and nurturing a culture of active engagement through sporting initiatives.
