The Society for Smart E-Mobility (SSEM) in Coimbatore organised a one-day conference on “Electric Vehicles & Allied Industries” under the theme: “Electric Vehicles -The Future of Transport” at Hotel Kiscol Grands on 26th June 2025.
The conference focuses on the growing importance of electric vehicles and related industries.
Manu Neethi, Divisional Engineer-Road Safety, Tamil Nadu State Highways, graced as the chief guest and inaugurated the conference.
From SSEM, Chandrasekar, Founder Trustee and Vice President; Hemalatha Annamalai, Patron and Trustee; and Sudhakar, Executive Committee Member, were present in the inaugural session.
The conference features four technical sessions, including Electric Vehicles: The Future of Transport, Advanced Technologies for Electric Vehicles, Involvement of Institutions – EV Perspective, and Electric Vehicle Standardization & Recent Government Incentive Policy.
