The Department of Computer Science with Cyber Security, and the Department of Computer Science, organized an International Seminar on Cybersecurity at Hindusthan College of Arts & Science, recently.
At the seminar, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the college, CertFirst (USA), and Point Perfect Technologies Services (PPTS), Coimbatore.
The event saw the exchange of the MoU between Premnath Kasinath, Chairman of PPTS, Coimbatore; Parm Soni, Director of CertFirst, USA; Priya, Executive Secretary, Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust; Ponnusamy, Principal of the college; Marrynal Eastaff, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science with Cyber Security, and Selvapriya, Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science.
The seminar provided valuable insights into the pressing issues of cybersecurity and discussed how specialized certifications can help bridge the existing gaps in the field. “The event was attended by over 1,000 students, all were eager to learn more about the emerging trends and opportunities in cybersecurity, said the organisers.
