The Women’s Centre by Motherhood Hospital announced the launch of its new Children’s Specialty Clinic on Mettupalayam Road, set to open on 14th November 2025, marking Children’s Day.
The child-friendly Outpatient Department (OPD) clinic aims to provide holistic paediatric care in a warm and engaging environment for children and their families, the hospital said.
The announcement was made during a children’s drawing competition organised by the hospital on 10th November 2025 to celebrate Children’s Day in advance.
The competition, open to children aged 3 to 12 years, aimed to encourage creativity and raise awareness on socially relevant themes such as “Road Safety,” “Save the Trees,” and “Say No to Plastic.” Over 200 children participated, showcasing their artistic talents and innovative ideas through colourful and meaningful artwork.
The occasion was graced by Dr. Mirudhubashini Govindarajan, Clinical Director, and Amith Kumar, Facility Director, along with several doctors and staff members, who encouraged the children and appreciated their efforts.
The prize distribution ceremony is scheduled for 14th November 2025, coinciding with Children’s Day celebrations. Winners will receive attractive prizes, including bicycles, musical instruments, and educational kits, along with certificates of appreciation for their creative contributions.
