The Department of Other Languages – Hindi, Hindusthan College of Arts and Science (HICAS), organised “Hindi Utsav 2026” recently, sponsored by UCO Bank.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Praveen Kumar, DGM, UCO Bank; Sajitha, Official Language Officer; Ramesh Kumar, Head of the Department of Other Languages; and Sarla Jangir, Programme Organiser.
The programme was also graced by eminent judges and guests, including Selvaraj, Kunwar Sanjay Vikram Singh, Remya Nair, Khushboo, Jayasree, and Sudha.
Around 250 students from various colleges participated enthusiastically in the programme. The participants showcased their talents and skills in various Hindi competitions.
Hindi Utsav 2026, sponsored by UCO Bank, provided an excellent platform for students to demonstrate their interest in Hindi, creativity, communication skills, and cultural talents.
