Department of Microbiology (DBT – Star Status) of Dr. NGP Arts and Science College inaugurated the two-day 19th Louis Pasteur National Symposium on the title Integrating Modern Bioscience Research, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and One Health Approaches to Combat Infectious Diseases and AMR (BIOSIKHA-2026) today at the college.

Renga Ramanujam, Head of the department; Sudha, Co-ordinator, DBT – Star Status; Dr. Aravind Dhanush, Medicinal Botany, National Institute of Siddha, Chennai; Dr. Varun Sundaramoorthy, Department of General Medicine & Infectious Diseases, KMCH; Rajendran, Task Force Member—DBT and Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology, PSG College of Arts and Science; Muthuswamy, Director Academics, Dr. NGP Educational Institutions; and Pawlin Vasanthi Joseph, Dean, R& D of the host college, jointly released the conference proceedings.
