Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, will organise a two-day training programme on “Value-added Products from Millets” on 10 and 11 February 2026 at the Centre for Post Harvest Technology, TNAU, from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Millets play a significant role in improving the nutritional status of human beings; however, they are sparingly used in the daily diet. Millets are highly nutritious, and value-added products prepared from millets offer enhanced health benefits. With the objective of developing skills among entrepreneurs, this training programme has been organised.
The training programme will cover the preparation of the following products:
- Traditional foods
• Pasta products
• Bakery products
• Instant food mixes
Interested participants are requested to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,770 (Rs.1,500 +18% GST) in person on the first day of the training.
Participants may get down at Gate No. 07 (opposite the Botanical Garden gate), TNAU, via Marudhamalai Road.
